COMPETITIVE FEES: Most investigations are charged out at $70 per hour plus HST **  with travel charged at the same rate with NO additional mileage fee on top (** please see the “Our Rates” section for comprehensive details).

MULTIPLE SURVEILLANCE VEHICLES to allow for daily vehicle “swaps” and the latest photographic equipment. Vehicles utilized include those that are especially suitable for “low profile” rural surveillance cases;

 

  • INVESTIGATIONS OF ALL TYPES  WITH A FOCUS ON INSURANCE FRAUD – $70 per hour plus HST  – specializing in covert surveillance including from forest / woodland locations and WINTER SURVEILLANCE  (additional fees apply to forest/woodland “camouflage” surveillance).

 

  • NEW SERVICE : DOCUMENT PICK UP AND FILING SERVICE  (AT FREDERICTON COURT HOUSE): If you are a law firm located within Fredericton City Limits I will pick up your documents for filing and then file them at the Court House Fredericton for $90 plus HST plus such filing fees as required by the Registry. If additional photo copying is required this will attract an additional fee. Fees for Court Houses beyond Fredericton by negotiation. For large quantities of documents that will take in excess of one hour to file fees are also by negotiation.
  • SICK LEAVE FRAUD: Do you have an employee on long term sick leave who is actually working a second job while collecting sick leave entitlements? Down East Investigations can confirm or negate your suspicions once and for all;

 

  • PROCESS SERVING OF COURT DOCUMENTS FROM NEW BRUNSWICK  – Court Process originating within New Brunswick from $90 plus HST within Fredericton City Limits – specializing in hard to find and evasive/violent persons. Fees for service outside of Fredericton City Limits are by negotiation. Please note Down East Investigations does not “farm out” its process serving – we do it all ourselves – so it gets done right – and it gets down quickly. If you require the documentation couriered back to you please note this will incur additional fee. Standard Canada Post is free.

 

  • PROCESS SERVING OF COURT DOCUMENTS FROM OUTSIDE NEW BRUNSWICK – process from other Provinces and the US – from $160.00 plus HST within Fredericton City Limits – the additional cost is due to the usual legal requirement that the Affidavit of Service for out of Province Court Process be witnessed by a Notary Public (in New Brunswick a lawyer) rather than merely a Commissioner of Oaths.

 

  • CROSS BORDER U.S. INVESTIGATIONS in partnership with experienced and trusted U.S. based Licensed Private Investigators in Maine and beyond – all of whom have lengthy Law Enforcement experience and significant contacts;

 

  • SUB-CONTRACT INVESTIGATION WORK FOR U.S. BASED PRIVATE INVESTIGATORS, LAW FIRMS AND INSURANCE COMPANIES LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED P.I. IN CANADA. ;

 

  • SURVEILLANCE – $70 per hour plus HST – Down East Investigations utilizes the latest photographic equipment and innovative techniques whilst adhering to all prevailing Federal and Provincial Laws;

 

  • COUNTER SURVEILLANCE SERVICES - do you have reason to believe that someone, such as a former lover, is stalking you? Down East Investigations can discreetly “watch your back” and as such may possibly be able to help to determine if this is or is not the case. The same type of service is available in regard to any situation where you feel your lawful activities, your business or your family are being subjected to surveillance.

The president of Down East Investigations and Security Inc, Mark Wright, BA LLB  Diploma of Policing has over 12 years years experience as a Police Officer and Prosecutor.

During his eight years of Police Service with the NSW Police Mark Wright reached the substantive rank of Senior Constable and also served as an Acting Sergeant. He has undertaken a wide variety of duties including having worked as a patrol officer and a street level under cover operative and investigator involved in anti drug, property crime and robbery operations. As a Crown Prosecutor Mark worked for three and a half years years on indictable matters ranging from sexual assaults, motor vehicle collisions where death or serious injury was occasioned, drug supply matters, armed robberies, major frauds and homicides. Mark also worked a further two years as a Regulatory Enforcement Prosecutor with the NSW Maritime Service.
